10.00am to 10.30am – Information for new Adult Fans of LEGO (AFOL)

What does AFOL mean? MOC? There are so many websites out there, which ones do I start with? How can I connect with other AFOLs? Where can I buy LEGO sets and individual parts? Can anyone exhibit at LEGO events? Heather Ashmeade is a member of the Southern Bricks LEGO User Group and an AFOL newbie. As did millions of other children,  Heather loved LEGO whilst growing up and spent many hours building, and in the last 12 months has rekindled her love of LEGO and joined the world of AFOLs. Join Heather to hear her hints and tips about venturing into the world of LEGO as an adult.

Bring your minifigs to life and learn the art of LEGO Stop Motion Animation from the master himself, @CheepJokes. 12.30pm to 1.00pm – Designing a MOC (My Own Creation): From Idea to Display

Ever wondered how people build the creations you see at Brick-a-Laide? Join Hamish, a member of the Southern Bricks Lego User Group, for a workshop in getting an idea to a fully built LEGO Creation! This course includes everything you need to know including Digital MOC design, building and a small insight into displaying at conventions. After this session we are confident we will see you all here next year!
